Job description

We are a growing private home healthcare agency seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves conducting in-home assessments, completing supervisory visits for skilled nursing staff, and supporting the ongoing care management of pediatric private duty patients in the home setting.

We are currently hiring for coverage in the Adairsville area for two pediatric clients and are looking for a nurse who values quality care, professionalism, and family-centered support.

Position Responsibilities

Conduct initial in-home patient assessments for private duty skilled nursing services

Complete supervisory visits for skilled nursing staff

Develop and update individualized plans of care

Maintain accurate patient documentation and records remotely

Perform routine monthly home visits to monitor patient progress

Communicate changes in patient condition to the agency and physician promptly

Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

Pediatric Client Overview

One current client is a medically fragile child requiring close monitoring. The child is underweight and experiences feeding difficulties and has minimal medication management.

Experience Preferences:

G-tube feeding knowledge and support

Pediatric care experience preferred

Ability to independently assess and monitor child health status in the home environment
