Job Description
Title: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician
Schedule:
- Shift: 12hr Days
- Schedule: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM, Monday - Friday
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty
- Required Certifications: BLS, AART or RCIS
- Education: Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited Technology program (CVT/Radiology)
- Minimum of 2-4 years of (interventional/diagnostic) experience in Cardiac Catheterization lab
- Experience with all procedures including Left Heart Catheterization, High Risk PCI, Right Heart Catheterization, Pacemakers, Peripheral Procedures, Structural Heart, EMCO, and EKOS.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patient progress and assess for any complications during procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and care standards.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper sterilization and functioning before and after procedures.
- Document and report on patient conditions and procedure outcomes.
