SUMMARY:


The Cardiovascular Technologists diagnoses cardiovascular problems use medical imaging methods like cardiovascular radiography to diagnose heart conditions, vascular problems, or ailments that involves the heart, it's arteries, valves, or blood vessels.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or as a Surgical Technician Certification and/or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certified.
  • Experience in a Cardiac Catheterization lab or Angiography lab preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within two (2) years of hire date.

  • Knowledge of electrocardiography, coronary heart disease, cardiac anatomy and physiology

  • Electrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.

  • Preferred Registered in one of the following:
    Registered Radiologic Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist (RT-CI), Radiologic Cardiovascular Technologist (RT-CV), Radiologic Technologist (RRT), or Surgical Technician Certified.
