Job description

What Transportation contributes to Cardinal Health Operations are responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Transportation is responsible for the movement of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing and the customer.

Management of transportation assets and systems to gain greater service, cost efficiency and optimization of processes. Shift Details 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm - Monday to Friday Responsibilities Experience in a pick/pack/ship distribution environment Effective multitasking skills, providing attention to several service related issues at once Excellent problem solver Exceptional communication skills Previous customer service experience is ideal Strong attention to detail Ability to take on additional operations job assignments as necessary Must be experienced and comfortable working in Excel Qualifications 1-3 years of experience, preferred High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred What is expected of you and others at this level Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution Refers to policies and past practices for guidance Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments Consults with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems Anticipated hourly range: $15.50 - $22.06 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential) Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
