Advanced Practice Nurse (Forensic Healthcare Program Manager)
Salary : Up to-$116,362 per year
This is an employed civilian Advanced Practie Nurse ( Forensic Healthcare Program Manager) position that affords job security, a competitive base salary, bonuses, moving expenses, full malpractice coverage, up to 26 days paid vacation, 11 days paid Federal Holidays, a sick leave benefit, CME opportunities, and a first-class health and retirement benefit package.
Winn Army Community Hospital is a 112-bed community hospital which will feature a new Women's Health and Mammography Center. Our healthcare team provides primary and specialty care for a patient population of over 70,000. As a civilian family practice physician you will play an integral role in providing exceptional healthcare to the Soldiers and Families in our great Army and the 3rd Infantry Division.
Key supporting specialties at Winn include OB/Gyn, general and orthopedic surgery, EENT, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and Urology. Enjoy the benefits of a full inpatient and outpatient EMR with digital radiography.

Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and medical oversight to the MTF Forensic Healthcare Program as the Forensic Healthcare Program Director/Manager (FHP-D/M) and the primary Medical Forensic Healthcare Program Follow -up Provider (FHP-F).
  • Conduct sexual assault medical forensic examinations and targeted forensic healthcare examinations for patients suffering injuries from other types of violence to include interpersonal violence, domestic violence and child physical or sexual abuse.
  • Development, implementation, and oversight of the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) Forensic Healthcare Program (FHP) program to improve the quality of care delivered to specific patient population through direct and indirect patient care.
  • Determine the optimal trauma-informed and patient-specific medical and forensic healthcare for patients with a disclosure of sexual assault and/or other physical violence.
  • Implement policy, oversee operations, education and training and collect required data for the MTF regarding the medical care of patients who have been victims of sexual assault/abuse, intimate partner violence or child sexual or physical abuse.
  • Conduct quality and process improvement initiatives, including peer/chart reviews, individual case reviews, after action reviews, identification of trends, reporting corrective actions, and recommending changes in policies, procedures, and protocols.

Must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination and possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
RN Licensure: A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States; and you must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination.
Advanced Practice Nursing Licensure: A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in a specialized area of nursing practice from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States; and you must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination.
