Responsibilities

The Monitor Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education.
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
  • PREFERRED

     

  • Knowledge of basic cardiac anatomy/physiology and medical terminology.
  • Previous health care experience.
  • Work Hours:7am-730pmWeekend Requirements:Yes- Rotating BasisEmployment Type: FULL_TIME
