Job Summary
We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist (Health and Exercise Science degree) to join our successful Cardiac Rehab gym. We are a Cardiology Clinic with a in-house gym to provide better care to our patients. Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 5:00pm, no calls and no weekends.
As a Exercise physiologist, you will perform fitness assessments, develop training plans, engage the patients in the rehab protocol, monitor heart rate and rhythm, and provide education on how to use gym equipment safely. Your primary goal is to join a team of professionals (which includes physiologists, nurses, medical doctor and dietitian) and help patients to achieve fitness objectives of the cardiac rehab protocol. 
The set protocol is for Intense Cardiac Rehab and follows a nation wide credentialing program, which commits us to a high quality work and service to our clients. 
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and motivated EP who wants to join a group, continue improving our highly reviewed facility, and bring more success. 


Responsibilities 
  • Perform fitness assessments to understand each client’s current fitness level
  • Create individualized workout plans and training routines and revise them periodically
  • Demonstrate proper techniques for using machines and equipment
  • Ensure that all gym safety standards and procedures are followed
  • Assist with Heart Health Diet lectures and videos
  • Chart documentation of provided service

Qualifications
  • Exercise Physiologist Certification
  • Current Exercise Physiologist or fitness instructor experience
  • Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred 
  • First aid and CPR certified
  • Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
