Cardiac Rehab Exercise Physiologist 

McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is your community medical provider, serving the Willamette Valley and its residents.  Our 113-bed hospital offers inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, medical, surgical and emergency care.  We are a family of caregivers offering care to our larger family — our community. 

Position Details:

  • Hourly Base Rate: $24.49 - $34.27
  • Shift:   40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts
  • SEIU Local 49 represented position

Job Summary:

  • The Cardiac Rehab Exercise Physiologist is a professional clinician who specializes and assists patients in guided education, risk factor reduction and exercise.
  • Ability to work in Phases I and II cardiac rehabilitation.
  • Assumes responsibility and accountability for patients during clinic sessions and performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in accredited Exercise Physiology program (M.S. preferred).
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification required on hire. 
  • Current BLS, ACLS certification or obtain within 90 days of Employment.
  • 1 year previous experience in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation preferred.
  • EKG/rhythm interpretation training required.
  • Proficient in telemetry interpretation skills.
