Job description

Job Title: Noninvasive Cardiologist / Cardiac Imaging Cardiologist
Job Type: Full-time
Position Summary:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Noninvasive Cardiologist with advanced training and expertise in cardiac imaging to join our growing cardiology team. This position involves a combination of outpatient and inpatient care, with a focus on the interpretation and performance of advanced cardiac imaging studies. We envision 70 general card / 30 cardiac imaging
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical care in general cardiology, including diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases.
  • Perform and interpret noninvasive cardiac imaging studies including:
    • Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography
    • Cardiac stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic)
    • Cardiac CT and/or cardiac MRI (depending on training and facility capabilities)
  • Participate in inpatient consultative cardiology service and hospital rounds.
  • Collaborate closely with interventional, electrophysiology, and heart failure teams for coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings such as structural heart conferences (if applicable).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to quality standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and may participate in clinical research or teaching (depending on the institution).
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • Fellowship-trained in Cardiology with advanced training in noninvasive cardiac imaging (Level II or III in Echo, Cardiac CT, and/or MRI preferred).
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Colorado.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Cardiac CT (SCCT) and/or Cardiac MRI (SCMR).
  • Experience or interest in structural imaging or heart valve disease (for advanced imaging roles).
  • Academic background and interest in teaching or research (if applicable).
