Critical Care Intensivist (Additional Neuro-Critical Care Preferred) | Established ICU Program | AdventHealth Coastal Florida 

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Critical Care Medicine physician with additional Neuro-Critical Care board eligibility/Certified to join our growing Critical Care program serving AdventHealth Daytona Beach, AdventHealth Palm Coast, and AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway Hospitals.

This opportunity offers the ability to practice full-scope critical care medicine across multiple ICUs, including medical/surgical and neuro-critical care, within a collaborative multidisciplinary team at highly rated hospitals along Florida’s beautiful Atlantic Coast. This opportunity is a newly opened position for expanding ICU coverage.

The ideal candidate is a team-oriented intensivist dedicated to clinical excellence, compassionate patient care, and collaborative multidisciplinary practice, while supporting AdventHealth’s mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.

Position Highlights:

  • 182 shifts per year
  • 7 on / 7 off schedule
  • Primarily 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Closed ICU model
  • Coverage includes medical/surgical ICU and neuro-critical care ICU
  • Rotating coverage across AdventHealth Daytona Beach and Palm Coast facilities
  • Collaborative team of 10 Critical Care physicians and 12 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Strong support from hospitalists, neurology, neurosurgery, and subspecialty teams

Night Coverage:;

All intensivists participate in shared in-house night coverage.

With the addition of two physicians, night call will rotate approximately one week every six work cycles (approximately every 12 calendar weeks.
