Job description
AdventHealth Waterman and AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) are seeking a BE/BC Neurosurgeon to establish a new Neurosurgical Program at AdventHealth Waterman. This role involves performing the full scope of neurosurgery, including craniotomy, spinal cases, and minimally invasive procedures. The position offers an opportunity to enhance and cultivate the neuroscience program throughout AdventHealth's East Florida Division, supported by a new microscope, Stryker Navigation, and APP support.
Practice Info
- New Neurosurgical Program at AdventHealth Waterman
- Mix of Craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive procedures
- New Microscope on site, Stryker Navigation
- Open surgery, microsurgery, peripheral nerve
- Not a trauma center, no trauma call
- Plan is for 3 Surgeons long term, with cross coverage support from other local AdventHealth surgeons
Responsibilities
- Perform full scope Neurosurgery
- Help establish a new Neurosurgical Program at AdventHealth Waterman
- Enhance and cultivate the neuroscience program throughout AdventHealth's East Florida Division
- Advance AdventHealth into a world-class Neurosurgery destination
