Job Title:

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)– School-Based | Northern California 

Location:

In Person, San Jose, CA 95126

Job Description:

Amergis is hiring a qualified SLP for an in-person, school-based assignment in Northern California. This role supports students in educational settings and collaborates with school-based teams to meet student needs.

Contract Details:

Full School Year Contract starting in August

Compensation:

Competitive weekly pay starting at $75/Hour. Travel pay packages available for positions 50+ miles away from your residence!

Requirements:

Active state license or credential required. School-based experience preferred. In-person availability required.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active  Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract. 
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
