Job description

Position Summary
Administer academic affairs planning and operations for graduate and non-degree programs in Courant departments (Mathematics, Computer Science, and Data Science). This role will manage the tracking, disbursement, and reconciliation of student funding, implement policies and procedures related to academic affairs at Courant, and provide project administration for broader academic affairs initiatives and priorities. Market and represent graduate and non-degree programs in Courant to various constituencies, including prospective students, alumni, and employers.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree and
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or a related field
Required Experience:
2+ years relevant professional-level experience. Must include experience in providing student services or administering programs or events, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000 to USD $88,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
