What is car tinting?

Car tinting is the process of applying a thin laminate film to the windows of a vehicle to reduce the amount of visible light, UV rays, and heat that passes through the glass. This film can enhance privacy, improve the car's appearance, protect the interior from fading, and help keep the vehicle cooler. Tinting is available in various shades and materials, and it's important to choose a type that complies with local laws and regulations. Professional installation ensures the best results and durability.

Job description

Ready to Build a Career, Not Just a Job?
Do you enjoy working with your hands, moving around instead of sitting at a desk, and seeing the results of your work every single day? At Window Genie of The Villages, we're looking for a skilled Window Film Installer to join our team.
Why Join Us?
  • Specialized Work - You'll focus mainly on residential and commercial window film installation and removal (no car tinting).
  • Variety Every Day - No two projects are the same. From enhancing a family's home to improving a business's energy efficiency, your work makes a difference.
  • Room to Grow - Along with window film, we'll train you in window cleaning, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and holiday lighting so you'll always have steady, year-round work.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience installing and/or removing window film is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, sometimes on ladders (up to 20 feet).
  • Great with customers - you'll represent our brand, explain services, and ensure every client is thrilled with the results.
  • Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn.

What You'll Do
  • Install and remove window films with precision.
  • Provide outstanding service by communicating with customers, doing walkthroughs, and offering recommendations.
  • Help with other services when needed (window cleaning, gutter cleaning, etc.).
  • Maintain tools and equipment in top condition.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Commission-based pay with unlimited earning potential.
  • Paid, hands-on training in all Window Genie services.
  • A clear career path in a growing company.

This Role Isn't for You If:
  • You're uncomfortable with heights (ladders up to 20 feet).
  • You'd rather avoid interacting with customers.

Who Should Apply
  • No college or high school diploma required - your skills and work ethic matter most.
  • Returning to the workforce? We value diverse career paths and will support your growth.

If you have window film experience and are ready to turn it into a rewarding career, apply today!
