Position Overview

We are seeking a Wheel Reconditioning Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on position involves restoring alloy wheels to OEM condition using advanced repair, paint, and refinishing techniques. You’ll work directly on-site at partner dealerships, using state-of-the-art equipment and eco-friendly materials in a clean, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and assess wheels for cosmetic and structural damage (curb rash, scrapes, gouges, oxidation, and bends)

  • Prepare, sand, mask, and refinish wheels using Car Shield–approved materials and color-matching processes

  • Operate mobile reconditioning trucks equipped with OEM-matched wheel paints and explosion-proof filtration systems

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all safety procedures are followed

  • Communicate effectively with dealership staff and Car Shield management

  • Document completed work accurately through internal tracking systems


Qualifications
  • Previous experience in wheel repair, auto painting, or collision reconditioning preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate standard automotive tools
