Automotive Used Car Service Technician

Dublin, OH

As a Used Car Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on used vehicles
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and safety standards in all service procedures
  • Document all service work and communicate effectively with the service team and management
  • Ensure all vehicles are returned to customers in safe and optimal condition
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably in used car servicing
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and own tools preferred
  • ASE certification is a plus
