Razzari Auto Centers is seeking an experienced, driven, and results-oriented Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle acquisition and inventory operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive professional who understands the used vehicle market, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for building a high-quality inventory that drives dealership profitability.
As our Used Car Manager, you will play a critical role in sourcing inventory through dealer auctions, purchasing vehicles directly from consumers, managing inventory flow, and ensuring vehicles move efficiently through the reconditioning process so they are frontline-ready as quickly as possible.
Responsibilities
  • Purchase quality pre-owned vehicles from dealer auctions, online marketplaces, and other wholesale sources.
  • Acquire vehicles directly from private sellers and customers through our dealership buying program.
  • Evaluate vehicle condition, market value, and profitability before purchase.
  • Utilize market data and pricing tools to make informed buying decisions.
  • Maintain the right inventory mix to meet dealership sales objectives.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Service, Parts, and Detail departments to ensure vehicles move efficiently through inspections and reconditioning.
  • Monitor and manage vehicle status from acquisition through front-line readiness.
  • Prioritize and expedite vehicles through the shop to reduce days-to-market.
  • Conduct regular inventory reviews and aging analysis.
  • Price inventory competitively based on current market trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with auction representatives, wholesalers, and local buying sources.
  • Help maximize gross profit while maintaining healthy inventory turn.
  • Assist with merchandising and inventory presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies and state regulations regarding vehicle purchases and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of automotive Used Car Management or Inventory Management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of wholesale auctions, vehicle appraisals, and current market trends.
  • Experience purchasing vehicles from Manheim, Adesa, ACV, or other wholesale platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation and appraisal skills.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle reconditioning processes.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple vehicles through the service and detail departments.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
