Job description

Position: Detailer
Location: Plano, TX
Reports To: Operations Manager
Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Description
Work within the car wash environment completing daily tasks as workload and volume dictates. Duties that can be asked of a porter include receiving of new vehicles, picking up and delivering vehicles to be washed, relocating rental vehicles, cleaning interior and exterior of new, used and fleet vehicles and assisting with other car wash duties to ensure volume levels are met.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Vehicle Cleaning
  • Porters will be responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles as assigned by the Team leader on a daily basis.

2. Building Wash Vehicles
  • Porters will be required to pick up daily their assigned building wash vehicles. This includes picking up the vehicles and driving them back to the Vehicle service center to perform the wash and returning the vehicle back to the origin building. Each porter will have an assigned number of building cars to clean on a daily basis.

3. Rental Vehicle/Fleet Vehicle Pool
  • Porters will have additional Rental and pool fleet vehicles to prep/clean on a daily basis as assigned by the team leader.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Requirements: Porters must have and maintain a valid driver license, and be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.
