You will primarily collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, and other technical stakeholders within industries such as automotive, aerospace, and heavy off-road vehicles. You will ensure that all sales, projects, and services are delivered on time while consistently exceeding customer expectations.

As a Sales Engineer, you will be the voice of the customer within our organization, working closely with the regional team, inside sales, and channel partners. We seek professionals who understand the value of solution-based selling, technical sales, and consultative selling and who are committed to delivering results, growing customer relationships, and adding value at every step of the sales process.

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive product training and sales strategy training to equip you with the tools and technical knowledge needed to create innovative customer solutions.
  • Extensive support and training on internal systems, including CRM, Target Sheets, and other sales operations tools.
  • Opportunity for significant financial compensation through an uncapped commission structure.
  • A robust benefits package, including healthcare, 401(k) with company match, car allowance, and travel expenses for customer entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop, and implement a Performance Optimization Plan for your territory, aligning with company goals, revenue objectives, and sales targets.
  • Manage and grow an assigned sales territory through strategic account planning, customer engagement, and consistent sales activity.
  • Engage in value-added sales and consultative selling interactions, ensuring products and services meet customer needs and surpass expectations.
  • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities while building a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships with engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and other key decision-makers.
  • Provide expert technical support, application support, and best-practice recommendations for product usage and customer applications.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical recommendations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas, revenue goals, and territory growth targets.
  • Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, activity, and pipeline information within the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with inside sales, regional teams, and channel partners to support customer projects and accelerate sales opportunities.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to advance opportunities, resolve commercial issues, and close profitable business.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, embracing company core values, reporting structures, and communication protocols.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to conduct customer visits, develop new accounts, support existing customers, and strengthen market presence.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in technical sales, territory sales, B2B sales, or a related customer-facing sales role.
  • Experience delivering sales presentations, product demonstrations, or technical solution presentations.
  • Proven experience in new business development, prospecting, and identifying new revenue opportunities.
  • Strong skills in relationship building, account management, and customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, sales quotas, or revenue objectives.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating as part of a regional and cross-functional sales team.
  • Knowledge of sales operations, pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning.
  • Experience managing an assigned sales territory or geographic customer base.
  • Ability and willingness to travel by car or plane approximately 50–70% of the time.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using CRM software to manage accounts, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales pipelines.
  • Previous experience in industrial equipment sales, manufacturing sales, or related industrial markets is preferred.
  • Experience selling to customers within automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, or other advanced manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
