Overview
Capture Manager
The Opportunity:
Integral Federal is seeking a Capture Manager to serve as a member of the Business Development Team in Tysons, VA. The ideal candidate will lead high-impact capture pursuits in direct support of Integral's Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and US Intelligence Community customers and national security missions. The capture manager will drive complex opportunities between $5M and $250M+ in size across IT, C5ISR, and mission-critical intelligence solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end capture execution for assigned pursuits, from qualification through proposal submission.
    β€’ Shape capture strategies tailored to customers, aligning technical approaches, operational concepts, and personnel requirements to mission objectives.
    β€’ Develop and execute capture plans including competitive positioning, teaming strategies, staffing approaches, pricing, and customer engagement.
    β€’ Partner with line leadership, capture teams, and SMEs to develop credible, executable, and mission-aligned solutions.
    β€’ Prepare and lead internal gate and risk reviews in compliance with internal governance and protocols.
    β€’ Manage B&P budgets, forecasts, and resource alignment to ensure disciplined, cost-effective capture execution.
    β€’ Serve as the focal point for cross-functional capture teams, coordinating operations, solutioning, pricing, proposal, contracts, and security.
    β€’ Candidate must have the ability to travel to support proposal efforts, primarily in the Tysons, VA area, as needed.

Qualifications
Required:
  • 12+ years of experience with customers in the US Federal Government, including leadership of complex programs, projects, and/or mission teams.
  • 7+ years of experience leading successful capture efforts for DoD, Federal Civilian, or US Intelligence Community pursuits, with demonstrated contribution to winning outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of federal customer missions, culture, procurement processes, and security requirements.
  • Strong ability to translate mission needs into operational and technical approaches suitable for capture and proposal efforts.
  • Experience managing budgets, resources, and priorities in high-tempo, mission-focused environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including engagement with senior government and industry stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and influence outcomes in a matrixed organization.

Preferred:
  • Experience with non-traditional acquisition strategies (e.g., OTA, CSO)
  • Familiarity with key contract vehicles, customers, and competitive landscape for specific Federal Agencies.
  • Knowledge of systems/software development, IT service management, cybersecurity, operations and maintenance, logistics, training, business process services, and sustainment is helpful.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline. Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
