Job Description:
Electrical Technician (Infotainment / Telematics ECU Testing – InfoConn)
Electrical Technician responsible for performing bench level testing of Infotainment and Telematics ECUs, ensuring proper functionality, quality validation, and issue diagnosis in automotive electronics systems.
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform electronics bench-level testing on Infotainment and Telematics ECUs.
•Set up and execute test benches, lab equipment, and validation setups.
•Conduct functional testing and validation of ECU features (audio, connectivity, telematics, UI systems)
•Create, execute, and document test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
•Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, log analyzers).
•Support ECU integration, flashing, and configuration activities.
•Work with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, QA) for issue resolution.
•Maintain test logs, documentation, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
•Assist in regression testing and validation for new releases or updates.
What are the Mandatory skills and skill proficiencies required for this position?
•Strong hands-on experience in electronics bench testing / ECU testing
•Good understanding of Infotainment and Telematics systems
•Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
•Experience using test instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
•Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
