Job description

We are seeking applicants for a Capital Engineer in our International Falls, MN Paper Mill.  The International Falls facility is a White Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America.

 
Principle Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage mill capital projects, with a focus on mechanical.
  • Responsible to provide engineering services to maintenance and operating department personnel as required to resolve all mechanical issues. Includes developing scope, plans, project justifications, cost estimates, engineering design, equipment and material specifications, manage project costs, schedules, consultants, contractors and construction along with start-up.
  • Responsible for safety plans, on-time, on-budget, trouble free projects with all customers.
  • Interact with purchasing, accounting, and other departments throughout the mill.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in engineering required with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial setting or equivalent experience and Project Management skills.  
  • Microsoft office experience including experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a current valid driver’s license.
