Role Summary

As Amperesand's Global Supply Manager for Capital Expenditures, you will own the end-to-end sourcing and procurement strategy for the capital investments that power our growth, from manufacturing equipment and test infrastructure to factory buildout and construction. You will be a key partner in shaping how Amperesand builds and equips its facilities, ensuring we acquire the right assets, from the right suppliers, at the right cost and timeline.

Responsibilities
  • Own sourcing, evaluation, and procurement of high-value capital equipment including power electronics manufacturing equipment, test systems, and precision manufacturing assets
  • Develop and manage multi-year capital procurement roadmaps aligned with production scale-up plans and NPI milestones
  • Negotiate and execute contracts with strategic suppliers, securing favorable pricing, delivery terms, warranty provisions, and service agreements
  • Conduct TCO modeling across equipment lifecycle; evaluate make-vs-buy options and qualify new capital assets in close coordination with engineering and operations
  • Own sourcing and contracting for indirect spend categories including tooling, calibration services, test and measurement equipment, and engineering services
  • Manage procurement for facility construction, fit-out, and equipment installation across Amperesand's manufacturing hubs; ensure timelines align with facility readiness and capital project schedules

  • Build tools and processes to provide visibility into Capex spend, asset readiness, cost reduction opportunities, and supplier performance

  • Experience in a startup or NPI-stage environment with the ability to build processes from the ground up
  • Strong financial acumen, fluent in TCO modeling, capital budgeting, and Capex approval processes
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder supplier contracts
  • Ability to work across functions, prioritize under pressure, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
