Job description

Location: Hershey, PA

Duration: Fall 2026 (full-time)

The Capital PMO Co-Op will work collaboratively with the Capital PMO Team to ensure Hershey meets its Multi-Million dollar Capital Budget!

This role will provide exposure to Capital Budget Group Owners from multiple Hershey Facilities across the globe, including Confectionery, Salty, and International manufacturing sites by proactively reviewing, analyzing, and assessing capital project data.

More specifically, this role will:

  • Review and audit submissions for the quality of key deliverables to ensure the submissions comply with Hershey's capital stage gating process.
  • Leverage Power BI to transform and manage a Capital Engineering dashboard that maintains up-to-date information about capital expenditures, project approvals, resource demand, and year-over-year performance.
  • Help improve the Capital Engineering data management strategy in support of achieving a more automated data environment.
  • Support the delivery of the in-year capital plan and creation of the following year capital plan as the primary point of contact for one or more 'budget groups' who execute capital projects.
  • Assist in the week-to-week capital stage gate governance cycle. This will include setting meeting agendas, monitoring document compliance, administering meetings, and capturing meeting follow-ups.

Education Requirements:

Majors: Any Engineering, Supply Chain, or Finance-related Majors (BS Degrees)

Years Completed: At least 2 years of coursework completed

Experiences/skills:

  • Prior Internships preferred but not required
  • Ability to communicate and work with a wide variety of audiences
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Detailed and process oriented
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills
  • PowerBi Experience preferred
