Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Associate - Consultant within EY-Parthenonโ€™s Strategy and Execution Corporate Real Estate โ€“ Capital Projects practice, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most complex and large-scale capital programs and projects across various industries including power generation, utilities, energy, infrastructure, technology, manufacturing, government and public sector, and other capital-intensive sectors. Projects may include conventional and renewable generation facilities, grid and transmission infrastructure, industrial facilities, data center developments, and other major infrastructure investments.

Moreover, you will have the opportunity to help clients solve complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and improve performance and resiliency related to the planning, development, delivery, financing, governance, and execution of major capital programs and projects.

A Senior Associate โ€“ Consultant will support and lead engagements related to the client services described below, oversee project delivery and client deliverables, manage engagement economics including budgeting, forecasting, and billing, help create and foster client relationships, support business development efforts by identifying new client opportunities and crafting proposals, participate in establishing the firm's point of view and thought leadership on key industry topics.

Client services may include, but are not limited to, the following:

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Architecture, Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, or related field and 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience which may include, but is not limited to, management consulting, project management, construction management, architecture, and/or other related work experience.

  • Significant experience applying technical and commercial knowledge across large capital projects and programs, including project management, engineering, construction management, cost estimating, project controls, scheduling, procurement, contract management, financing, risk management, or related disciplines.

  • Experience supporting power generation, utility, energy, infrastructure, industrial, transportation, data center, or other large-scale capital projects is strongly preferred.

  • A valid passport is required.

  • High proficiency with the MS Office Suite of Products.

  • You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.

  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.

Ideally, you will have
  • Prior professional services or management consulting experience.

  • An advanced degree in engineering or business, PMP, PE, LEED, CCA, CIA, CCP, and/or Registered Architect certifications.

  • Established networking skills.

  • Experience with industry-leading capital project technologies, including Project Management Information Systems (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet, e-Builder, Autodesk Construction Cloud) and advanced reporting and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Databricks AI/BI, Capitol.ai)Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,000 to $205,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
