Job description

This vacancy is for a GS-0340-15, Program Manager located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, OFFICE OF CONTRACT OPERATIONS -CG-912 in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia.

Qualifications:Basic Requirements: To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the federal or private sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.

NOTE: All experience statements (i.e., duties, specialized experience, or occupational assessment questionnaire) copied from this announcement and pasted into your resume will not be considered as a demonstration of your qualifications for this position.
Specialized experience should demonstrate the following:

  • Plans, establishes, and directs programs implementing administrative control systems for the agency, specifically the various acquisition projects.
  • Overseeing the management of all human capital activities to ensure it has a cohesive human capital management plan and strategy.
  • Conducting comprehensive studies, developing policies, methods, and procedures related to program management and the design, development, and delivery of mission supporting functions, products, and/or activities.
