ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Performance Planning Specialist on Capex , Manufacturing, North America will implement and continuously improve Capex data collection and analytical tools and processes within the Building Material organization in North America to aid in driving manufacturing excellence and performance.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy through governance of data processing and architecture (e.g. calculations, data alignment); manage and optimize data sourcing and data references; coach, train, and establish standards for various points of capex data generation and transfer, working closely with projects Managers in operations.
  • Collaborate with projects teams to promote analytics as a business tool to achieve capex managament excellence.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement by collecting, compiling, and analyzing relevant industrial information to create transparency and highlight key drivers for capex performance.
  • DataSphere management (Business Warehouse).
  • Configure capex reports and link with other reports.
  • Ensure all data systems have reliable and accurate information.
  • Acquire, compile, and monitor capex data (monthly, quarterly, annually) and ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Consolidate results and prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports to senior management and to North American manufacturing support functions.
  • Supported by experts from Operating expertise, develop models for target setting (Capex to maintain, develop, WBS, Asset under construction.)
  • Standardize the use of cost and performance indicators for capex.
  • Implement and maintain communities of practice, collaboration tools and knowledge platforms.
  • Identify and contribute to the development of industrial controllers, procurement and Project managers in the NA region.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree

Field of Study Preferred: Requires a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related engineering/business field.
Required Work Experience: 10 years of progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, as a Capex, Industrial Controller, or in a related Capex /Manufacturing position.

Additionally, the applicant must have the following number of years of professional experience with each of the following:
1) 5 years: Managing data integration within the cement manufacturing environment; SAP, Oneppm, Data governance, and AUC
2) 2 years: Visualization tools, including Qlikview, Data Studio, and Axiom
3) 5 years: Achieving Capex KPIs within the cement manufacturing environment
Required Technical Skills:  Excel, Word, Microsoft office, SAP

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
