Job description

Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) Needed

We are seeking reliable Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) throughout Cape May County including Cape May Courthouse, Oceanview, Wildwood, Rio Grande and surrounding areas within Cape May County. Immediate cases available.

Key Responsibilities (Non-Medical/Companionship Only)
  • Provide engaging companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
  • Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a tidy home environment.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to dietary restrictions.
  • Assist with running errands and grocery shopping.
  • Provide transportation for appointments and social outings.
  • Offer medication reminders (not administration).
  • Engage clients in stimulating activities such as hobbies, reading, puzzles, and walks.
  • Observe and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the Agency Manager.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • A caring, patient, and mature demeanor with a passion for helping others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
