They are responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. Cape Cod Servers often work in seasonal or tourist-driven environments, which can mean fast-paced shifts during peak vacation months. Their duties may also include setting tables, processing payments, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Cape Cod server?

To thrive as a Cape Cod Server, you need excellent customer service skills, basic food and beverage knowledge, and usually a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and food safety certifications such as ServSafe are typically expected.
