About Environment for the Americas
Environment for the Americas (EFTA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing diversity in the conservation field, promoting environmental education, and supporting bird conservation through various internship programs and World Migratory Bird Day. We collaborate with federal agencies, local communities, and educators to advance environmental stewardship across the Americas.
Position Summary
The Sales Inventory and Social Media Coordinator is responsible for supporting sales initiatives while managing EFTAs online presence across social media platforms. This role bridges marketing and sales by creating engaging content, tracking campaign performance, and assisting with lead generation and customer relationship management. The coordinator collaborates with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging, promotes products or services through digital channels, and helps drive revenue growth through both online engagement and direct sales support. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory and Shopify Management
  • Oversee product inventory
  • Package and ship items purchased from clients, partners, guests, etc.
  • Maintain inventory tracking of items purchased and in/out of stock inventory
  • Ensure all product listings are up to date including pricing, descriptions, images, and availability
  • Author a weekly Shopify newsletter featuring promotions and new items
  • Maintain the Shopify website, including inventory, pricing, product descriptions and imaging

Social Media Management
  • Create, plan, and schedule content, ensuring regular and impactful online engagement.
  • Monitor analytics and propose strategies to increase reach, engagement, and
  • community participation.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries to foster a positive and informative
  • digital presence.

Collaboration & Support
  • Work closely with program managers, interns, and partner agencies to gather stories
  • and media.
  • Participate in virtual and in-person events to document activities and create content.
  • Contribute to communications planning, creative brainstorming, and annual campaigns like World Migratory Bird Day.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Facebook,
  • LinkedIn).
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience with sales in general and Shopify
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Basic knowledge of analytics and reporting
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Creative thinking for marketing and content ideas

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in environmental education, conservation, or working with a wide range of

Work Environment
This role may involve a combination of on-site event coverage and remote content production.
Flexible scheduling is available based on academic commitments. May include occasional travel
for events, training, or field programs. Must be comfortable working outdoors at times for filming
or photography. This position is located in-office in Boulder, Colorado.
