Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Intellect Capacity Mental Clinic, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting ongoing evaluations to assess the mental health needs of patients, facilitating their journey toward recovery.
  • Coordinating with supervisors, healthcare staff, family members, and guardians to ensure clear communication and a cohesive treatment approach.
  • Creating detailed plans outlining appointments, home visits, and observation sessions that track patient progress effectively.
  • Executing home visits as necessary to observe patients in their natural settings, conducting chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis to inform treatment plans.
  • Implementing the clinic's program strategies accurately and efficiently to achieve the best outcomes for your patients.
  • Participating in regular Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on comprehensive care strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date progress notes on a monthly and quarterly basis to document treatment effects and adjustments.
  • Facilitating training sessions for team members to ensure compliance with program methodologies and documentation procedures.
  • Following up with patients through interviews and visits to monitor ongoing needs and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Ensuring that all sensitive patient records are managed confidentially and are readily available for team review.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of individuals, including both adults and youth, who are seeking assistance with various mental health challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. Qualifications

We require candidates to hold a:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
