Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule while still being an integral part of our collaborative team. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will conduct virtual therapy sessions, assessments, and follow-ups, directly increasing access to mental health resources for clients who may face barriers to traditional in-person services. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to understand each patient’s mental health needs, utilizing telehealth methodologies.
  • Facilitate effective communication among supervisors, direct care personnel, families, and other relevant stakeholders to monitor patient progress.
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, assessing individual goals and outcomes.
  • Coordinate home visits for in-depth assessments and follow-ups as necessary, ensuring a thorough understanding of each client’s situation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including monthly and quarterly progress notes to support ongoing treatment.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and refine treatment plans.
  • Train and support team members in program protocols and paperwork to maintain standards of care.
  • Respond to client needs through follow-up interviews and home visits, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Contribute to community outreach efforts, advocating for mental health awareness and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards within the counseling profession.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our clinic offers specialized services in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, and substance misuse. By addressing a wide variety of mental health challenges, you will play a crucial role in fostering resilience and promoting recovery among individuals from different backgrounds.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
  • At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of mental health treatments and therapeutic best practices.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with various clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a mental health team.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in specific therapeutic modalities such as family therapy, trauma-informed care, and substance use counseling is highly desirable.
  • A history of participating in community mental health initiatives or outreach programs.
