Job description

  • Manage and optimize nationwide linehaul transportation resources and trucking capacity
  • Build and maintain a reliable carrier and trucking resource pool
  • Monitor and improve linehaul transit time performance and operational efficiency
  • Own and manage linehaul KPI performance, including on-time delivery, cost efficiency, utilization, and service quality
  • Coordinate closely with internal fleet teams, warehouse operations, and transportation partners
  • Support transportation pricing analysis, carrier negotiations, and rate management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and transportation vendors
  • Lead carrier performance management, compliance reviews, and operational evaluations
  • Ensure stable linehaul capacity support during peak seasons and high-volume operational periods
  • Identify operational risks and implement contingency plans for transportation disruptions
  • Analyze transportation data and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation operations, linehaul management, fleet operations, or logistics planning
  • Strong understanding of trucking operations, carrier management, and transportation networks
  • Experience managing transportation KPIs, carrier performance, and operational coordination
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to operational detail
