Job Description
This role is responsible for the end-to-end development and management of OEM alliances, including identification of target markets, alliance origination, onboarding, and long-term partner growth. The position supports the expansion of HSB's OEM Risk Solutions by developing data-driven, technology-enabled risk transfer offerings, with a focus on priority growth sectors such as energy, data centers, critical infrastructure, and industrial equipment ecosystems.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Risk Management or a related technical or commercial discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic alliance development, solution sales or related commercial roles.
  • 5+ years of experience working with or within OEM or equipment service organizations, preferably industrial OEMs or technology-enabled equipment and service providers with focus on IoT, connected equipment, digital service platforms, warranty models, or equipment lifecycle solutions.
  • 5+ years managing complex B2B client relationships, including senior stakeholder engagement, cross-functional buying centers, and multi-party solution development.
  • Preferred experience developing or commercializing new offerings involving risk transfer, warranty, service contracts, performance guarantees, or complex financial and contractual risk transfer structures.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Strategic understanding of how financial and risk-transfer solutions can support OEM digital service models, data monetization, and technology-enabled growth.
  • Working knowledge of energy, data center, and adjacent critical infrastructure sectors, including how OEMs, service providers, operators, and financial stakeholders evaluate equipment uptime, efficiency, reliability, and risk mitigation.
  • Strong consultative selling and business development capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex value propositions to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen and comfort operating in ambiguous but innovative environments.
  • Strong internal stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and resilience.
