Job description

The Solutions Marketing Manager leads the team responsible for turning customer challenges into insight-led, differentiated solutions. This role is both a people leader and a senior strategic partner to Sales, setting the standard for how the organization approaches complex opportunities, RFPs/RFIs, and high-priority client conversations.

Rather than starting with a product or a predetermined activation, the Manager starts with the customer: What are they trying to accomplish? What does the market tell us? Which combination of capabilities can best address the challenge? And what is the most compelling story for why Digital Remedy can solve it?

The Manager owns the strategic approach for the most complex opportunities while building a team and operating model that gives Sales the right level of support across the pipeline.

What You'll DoLead Customer & Opportunity Strategy
  • Partner with Sales on complex, strategic, and high-value opportunities to identify the underlying customer business and marketing challenge.

  • Lead problem-led solution development that combines multiple products, audiences, platforms, media types, and services around specific customer needs.

  • Define the strategic angle, narrative architecture, and recommendation for major pitches, RFPs, and RFIs.

  • Challenge briefs and assumptions constructively when a stronger strategic approach can improve the opportunity.

  • Translate customer objectives, audiences, KPIs, and market dynamics into clear strategic recommendations.

Build Strategic Narratives & Solutions
  • Develop executive-level client narratives that connect challenge, insight, strategy, solution, proof, and expected outcome.

  • Ensure recommendations are integrated solutions rather than collections of disconnected capabilities.

  • Lead custom research and insight development where it can materially strengthen the strategy.

  • Simplify complex capabilities into persuasive stories for senior client and agency audiences.

  • Lead quarterly business reviews for top strategic accounts, setting the standard for how the team frames performance, insight, and forward-looking recommendations that shape the client relationship.

Lead the Solutions Marketing Team
  • Manage, coach, and develop the Solutions Marketing Analyst and Solutions Marketing Associate.

  • Establish intake, prioritization, routing, and quality standards so the team deploys strategic resources where they can have the greatest revenue impact.

  • Create clear escalation paths from scalable sales support to custom strategy and executive-level opportunity support.

  • Build the team's skills in customer discovery, research, storytelling, strategic thinking, presentation development, and sales partnership.

  • Measure team impact through pipeline support, meetings created, opportunity outcomes, turnaround time, and seller adoption, not presentation volume alone.

Partner Across Marketing & Sales
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Product & Enablement to apply established positioning, messaging, GTM frameworks, proof points, and foundational materials to customer-specific opportunities.

  • Provide feedback from live opportunities to Product & Enablement on recurring customer needs, competitive themes, content gaps, and emerging solution opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Research, Product, Creative, and other subject-matter experts to assemble the right expertise around priority opportunities.

  • Advocate for earlier Solutions Marketing involvement so the team helps shape recommendations rather than simply package decisions already made.

What Success Looks Like
  • Solutions Marketing is viewed by Sales as a strategic partner, not a production resource.

  • Priority pitches and RFP/RFI responses lead with customer problems and insights rather than product capabilities.

  • The team provides differentiated levels of support efficiently across the pipeline.

  • Sellers bring Solutions Marketing into important opportunities earlier in the process.

  • Team support contributes to stronger client conversations, pipeline progression, and revenue outcomes.

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in solutions marketing, integrated marketing, media strategy, sales strategy, brand strategy, agency planning, or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business challenges into clear strategic recommendations and compelling narratives.

  • Experience leading RFPs, RFIs, major pitches, or complex client proposals.

  • Strong research, analytical, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.

  • Ability to connect multiple products and capabilities into cohesive customer solutions.

  • Strong commercial instincts and a collaborative, consultative approach to partnering with Sales.

  • People management or demonstrated team leadership experience.

  • Experience in media, advertising, agencies, ad tech, or B2B marketing is a plus.

Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, including employer sponsorship for an H-1B visa, OPT-STEM employment, etc.
