Job Summary

  • Responsible for executing the sales strategy for the guided surgery service and product portfolio (RealGUIDE and Implant Concierge), and attaining the related sales goals in respective region. The RealGUIDE Sales Specialist is expected to develop and execute a sales plan, develop sales targets, close sales, and coordinate sales efforts with the ZimVie sales team.

Principal Duties and responsibilities

  • Network with key customers and new prospects to identify and address specific guided surgery needs to help achieve revenue objectives.
  • Identifies and engages KOL support.
  • Collaborates with all appropriate internal resources to build long term strategic partnerships with targeted clinicians and dental laboratories.
  • Utilize market data and guided surgery knowledge to anticipate and understand industry trends and developments.
  • Serves as the key point of contact and RealGUIDE subject matter expert for targeted accounts and serves as key point of contact for internal sales team members within region.
  • Conducts guided surgery selling presentations that lead to successful and profitable customer relationships.
  • Create RealGUIDE and Implant Concierge annual commercial business plan to engage customers in areas of mutual interest, align sales team members on action plans, and coordinate resources to execute.
  • Implement sales plans and marketing strategies that position ZimVie’s guided surgery products and services competitively and help to meet the organizations revenue objectives.
  • Develop and maintain guided surgery technical expertise and provide support to sales personnel and customers, including demonstration of ZimVie product capabilities, key features and advance applications.

Expected Areas of Competence:

  • Extensive guided surgery product knowledge that leads to identification of market trends and sales strategies.
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment, and communicate regularly with internal stakeholders.  
  • Understanding of ZimVie products, dental industry, and competitor’s products and strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working cross functionally and ability to consult with all internal stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with, lead, and influence others.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • 6-8 years’ proven sales/marketing experience in the medical device industry (or related business)
  • CDT or other technical certification preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in a dental lab environment preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience with CAD/CAM software preferred
  • Bachelors’ degree preferred
  • Will consider commensurate education and experience

Travel Requirements: 

  • Up to 70%
