Job description

Mobile Crisis Practitioner

$5,000 Retention Bonus!!

The candidate selected for this position may be eligible for a retention bonus of up to $5,000. An initial sum of $2,500 will be paid after the completion of six months in this role, with the balance disbursed after twelve months of service. To qualify for the full bonus, the individual must maintain employment in this position for at least twelve months. The bonus is non-transferable to other roles.

Base Salary: $54,549.47 - $63,162.54/annually

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

Canvas Health's mental health and substance use disorder providers, clinicians, and staff bring their diverse lived experience to help inform and guide the care they provide to clients. Our integrated programs and services offer coordinated care to people of all ages in their homes, the community, and in our clinics. We strive for excellence in clinical care as we serve those living with mental illness, substance use disorders, crisis, unstable housing, and trauma. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for answering phones to triage and determine the need for mobile crisis response, providing diagnostic and crisis assessment, crisis intervention and additional therapeutic services as indicated, as a member of a mobile crisis response team. Services are provided in-home (Mobile Crisis Response), office-based, and telehealth.

Schedule

Monday โ€“ Friday, typical hours are between the hours of 8am to 5pm

Minimum Qualifications

Practitioner

  • Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in behavioral sciences.

AND

  • Completed 2,000 or more hours of delivering supervised services to clients with mental illness, substance use disorder, or emotional disturbance

OR

  • Currently serving a federally recognized tribe and meets the definition of "vendor of medical care."

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations
  • Experience delivering either in-home or crisis services
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record systems
