Overview:

The Woodlands at Canterfield is a new, luxury assisted living and memory care community located in West Dundee, IL. And we're looking for terrific caregivers for all shifts! Apply Today!

Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the residents with activities of daily living, medication reminders, and social and spiritual pursuits to the best of their abilities while promoting their dignity, independence, self-determination, privacy, choice, and rights.

Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities

  • Assist the residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) and medication reminders.
  • Identify residentsโ€™ physical and cognitive changes, making appropriate follow-up decisions, documentation, and communication to appropriate associates.
  • Assist the residents with leisure time programming, including escorting them to and from activities.
  • Assist with dining services and general housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.

Position Requirements

Education: High School Diploma/GED

Licenses/Certifications: N/A

Experience: 1-2+ years of caregiving experience preferred
