Job description

ASME Welder/Fabricator

Location: Manheim, PA

Shift: 2pm-12am (Mon-Thu); Occasional Friday OT available

Pay: $25-30/hr.

Description:

  • Cannonball Recruiting is seeking skilled ASME Welder/Fabricators for an Industrial Service and Manufacturing facility.

Required:

  • Previous experience working under ASME codes and standards
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics
  • Ability to follow written instructions in English in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Ability to follow safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Job Duties:

  • Weld and fabricate various tanks and components to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Code standards. Welding includes FCAW / GMAW, SAW, SMAW
  • Obtain company required certification for above within 60 days of hire
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
  • Safely operate equipment including overhead cranes (training provided)
  • Comfortable using electric grinding equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. climb ladders, work at heights up to 16 ft., and periodically work in confined spaces
  • Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager
