divh2Brand Ambassador (Cannabis Technology)/h2pLocation: Phoenix, AZ Employment type: Independent Contractor (1099) Hours: Part time (approx 16-20 hours per month)/ppRole Summary: The Brand Ambassador serves as a trusted, in-market representative of Leafly, supporting marketing, sales, and community initiatives through education, events, relationship-building, and feedback collection. This role is critical to driving awareness, adoption, and credibility in Arizona. The candidate must live in their territory and requires a background check and motor vehicle check.

You must have a clean driving record./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliRepresent Leafly at events, dispensary locations, and industry activations/liliActively engage with customers, patients, and brand partners/liliEducate audiences on use of the Leafly app and Leafly.com beyond strain database and education including but not limited to shopping and deals./liliSupport GTM initiatives including launches and partnerships at events and in dispensaries/liliBuild and maintain professional relationships with in-store personnel/liliCreate high-quality digital content across approved social media platforms to promote brand awareness and engagement/liliCapture event photos, video, and content to support post-event recaps and internal reporting/liliProvide feedback to the marketing team on campaign ideas, event opportunities, social trends, areas for improvement, competitive information/activity, etc./liliAssist with event setup, breakdown, and vendor coordination as needed/liliCollect and report market insights, feedback, and competitive intelligence/liliEnsure all activities comply with cannabis regulations and brand guidelines/liliSubmit recaps and photos about time in the field including store visits, events, and budtender engagement./liliRemain up to date with industrys best practices/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliGood knowledge of cannabis and cannabis technology/liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills/liliProfessionalism, reliability, and high integrity/liliAbility to travel locally and work flexible hours including nights and weekends/liliPrior experience in cannabis, retail, marketing, or brand ambassadorship a plus/liliComfort with Google sheets, excel, and basic data tracking a plus/li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulliMinimum age 21/liliAbility to lift event materials of up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods of time/liliReliable transportation/li/ulh3Compensation/h3ulliCombination of flat rate per event stipend and incentives/li/ulh3Reporting Relationship/h3ulliReports to Ambassador Program Manager or Regional Marketing Lead/liliThis position has no direct reports or supervisory responsibility./li/ulpOther Relevant Information: This position will work 95% in the field traveling to dispensaries, pop-up events, and other marketing and promotional events. Must have access to a secure computer to attend virtual meetings, receive email, and write event recaps. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively.

The employee frequently is required to set up heavy equipment, move boxes, and other materials as needed. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as well as lift and carry folding tables, bins of merchandise, tents, and banners. Must be able to stand and talk with others for up to 4 hours at a time.

Must have the ability to travel using your own transportation, occasionally for long distances.
