A Cannabis Solventless technician specializes in extracting concentrates from cannabis without using chemical solvents. They typically use mechanical methods such as ice water extraction (for bubble hash) or heat and pressure (for rosin) to separate the trichomes from the plant material. This process results in cleaner, high-quality concentrates that appeal to consumers seeking solvent-free products. The technician is responsible for ensuring proper technique, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and legal regulations.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a cannabis solventless technician?

Familiarity with specialized equipment like rosin presses, filtration systems, and quality control tools is essential. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills help ensure product consistency and effective teamwork. These competencies are crucial for producing high-quality extracts safely and efficiently in a regulated environment.

What are common challenges faced by cannabis solventless technicians, and how can they be addressed?
