The company retails high-quality cannabis products at its High Profile locations in Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Massachusetts, Kentucky and New Jersey.

What we are looking for...

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment efforts across our retail, cultivation, manufacturing, and corporate business units. This role is ideal for a proactive recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships, creating exceptional candidate experiences, and helping teams grow.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage full-cycle recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt positions across C3 Industries and High Profile Cannabis Shops. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to identify, attract, and hire top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

This is a hybrid role in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

In this role you will...

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions across retail, cultivation, manufacturing, supply chain, and corporate functions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and hiring timelines.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract diverse, qualified candidates.
  • Create and post compelling job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Guide candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers and support offer negotiation activities.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion rates, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Assist with onboarding coordination and pre-employment processes as needed.
  • Support recruitment-related projects, process improvements, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Provide market insights and recruiting recommendations to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Leadership teams to support workforce planning initiatives.
  • Promote C3 Industries and High Profile as an employer of choice within the cannabis industry.

Skills and experience you have...

  • 2-4 years of full cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience with high volume recruiting, preferably with both hourly and salary employees.
  • Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; ability to correspond in a professional, businesslike manner.
  • Comprehensive understanding of progressive trends and best practices in recruiting.
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques using social media and experience using Indeed, LinkedIn, and Facebook to identify and engage talent.
  • Knowledge of KPI's and metrics.
  • Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build relationships, operate in an environment of ambiguity, and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Strong results-orientation and commitment to quality, performance and deliverables.
  • Effective multi-tasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
