Job description

JARS Cannabis is seeking an experienced and skilled Cannabis Trimmer to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for the cannabis industry and possess a proven track record in precision trimming, we want to hear from you. As a key member of our cultivation center, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high-quality standards that JARS Cannabis is known for.

PAY: $17/hour

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a cannabis trimmer in a commercial cultivation setting.
  • Speed and Precision: Demonstrated ability to hand trim a minimum of 2 lbs of cannabis per day with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
  • Compliance: Familiarity with and commitment to compliance with state regulations regarding cannabis cultivation.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changes in trimming methods, strains, and production schedules.
  • Passion: Genuine passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to delivering top-quality products.
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and reliability are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Hand Trimming Excellence: Perform meticulous hand trimming of cannabis flowers to ensure the highest quality product meets JARS Cannabis standards.
  • Efficient Production: Achieve a minimum daily production of 2 lbs by hand, showcasing proficiency and speed without compromising quality.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to identify and remove any imperfections, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing final product.
  • Adherence to SOPs: Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for trimming, ensuring consistency and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the cultivation team to coordinate trimming schedules and contribute to a positive and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to sanitation and hygiene guidelines.
