Job description

Join the Nirvana Cannabis Team as an Inventory Shift Lead

Are you detail-driven, compliance-focused, and ready to step into on-shift leadership? Nirvana Cannabis is seeking a reliable and experienced Inventory Shift Lead to help support inventory accuracy, audits, and operational standards at our retail locations.

As a family-owned and operated company, we value integrity, consistency, and internal growth. This role is ideal for individuals with strong inventory knowledge who want to take on added responsibility while remaining hands-on and tip-eligible.

About the Role

The Inventory Shift Lead supports daily retail operations with a focus on inventory integrity, compliance, and organization. This role assists with intake oversight, stock-level awareness, audits, and merchandising standards while serving as a trusted on-shift leader.

While this position does not include formal management authority, Inventory Shift Leads play a critical role in reinforcing SOPs, supporting training, and ensuring inventory-related processes are completed accurately and consistently.

What You'll Do

You'll assist with oversight of inventory operations for your assigned location, helping ensure proper intake, accurate documentation, and adherence to audit schedules. You'll support compliance by reinforcing procedures, maintaining merchandising standards, and identifying any risks or discrepancies for leadership review.

You'll also help reinforce training, delegate inventory-related tasks appropriately, and communicate clearly with Support Staff, Lead Supervisors, Inventory Managers, and Store Managers. Throughout each shift, you'll lead by example - maintaining structure, accuracy, and professionalism in all inventory-related activities.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking dependable team members with a strong understanding of cannabis inventory operations who take pride in accuracy and compliance. Ideal candidates are organized, communicative, and confident supporting inventory workflows in a fast-paced retail environment.

Growth & Development

The Inventory Shift Lead role is an important step in our internal leadership pipeline. Many Inventory Managers and retail leaders began their journey in inventory-focused leadership roles.

At Nirvana Cannabis, we invest in training, mentorship, and internal advancement for team members who consistently demonstrate accountability and leadership potential.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in cannabis retail inventory, intake, or compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to required weight limits
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must meet all state requirements for cannabis industry employment

Why Nirvana?

At Nirvana Cannabis, we're more than a dispensary - we're a community. We value trust, structure, and growth, and we take pride in promoting from within.

If you're ready to support inventory excellence, lead with integrity, and grow your career, we invite you to apply for the Inventory Shift Lead position.
