The Role:

Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop is looking for a Bottling Facility Production Associate to join our team. This role involves working in our production facility to support the creation and packaging of our popular soda products. You will be a vital part of our production process, ensuring our products are prepared and delivered efficiently.

As a Bottling Facility Production Associate, you'll pick and pack products, assist in order execution, and ensure efficient inventory management. You'll also handle the receiving and shipping of soda orders and supplies. Experience operating a forklift and other powered equipment is not required, but preferred. Independence and minimal supervision are key.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual labor as required in the bottling facility.
  • Maintain food safety standards.
  • Support the creation and batching of making soda.
  • Learn how to safely monitor the bottling/packing machines during production.
  • Read work orders, operate machinery and equipment controls, and use a computer for operations.
  • Assist in other aspects of the store such as inventory, warehousing, stocking, and unloading the truck as needed.
  • Learn and apply proper receiving and inventory procedures.
  • Prepare orders for delivery.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Food safety experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate machinery.
  • Availability to work 35-40 hours per week.
