Our mission is simple: to grow the highest-quality weed at prices everyone can afford.We're looking for passionate individuals to help us democratize cannabis-or as we like to say, to "Weed the People."With a dialed-in grow operation and a bold new brand refresh, we're ready to dominate the MD/DC market-and have a little fun while we're at it.Kitchen Supervisor Our Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for supervising Kitchen Production including infused edibles, topicals, tinctures, capsules, and other infused products. They are also responsible for managing the kitchen consumables inventory and overseeing the packaging of products. The Supervisor will ensure the kitchen department is compliant with company and industry standards. Your role in caring for our products:The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Supervise and train all Kitchen team members in the infused product production process (dosing, cooking, dispensing, packaging, QC, and packaging).Onboard, and train all new kitchen team members.Develop and implement new product varieties.Produce and maintain compliant labeling for all MIPs products.Operate and train employees on machinery including, but not limited to, candy packaging machines, candy cookers, and candy depositors.Troubleshoot and correct any issues with machinery.Maintain and oversee the servicing of all equipment and machineryOversee base and precursor production and coordinate dosing with lab.Prep ingredients required for topical and edible products.Partner with the Assistant General Manager to create weekly schedules.Ensure and manage quality control process of all products.Assist with production work as needed.Complete production logs and GoCanvas logs as required.Maintain all cleaning and calibration logs.Maintain and oversee all temperature and humidity set points and logs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Maintain up to date knowledge of ABCA Regulations.Address underperformance promptly and compassionately, in accordance with company policy.Retains and develops top performers by understanding individual's motivations and providing actionable feedback.Provide feedback on SMART goals for Kitchen employees.Maintain active Food Safety Manager certification (ex. Servsafe)Other duties as assigned.All other duties as necessary. Qualifications we ask you to have:For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.We asked that you have at least as a High School degree/GED preferred.We ask that you have a minimum of one (1) year of managerial experience.Additional skills which will help you excel in your role:Strong attention to detail – METRC records must be precise. A passion for the cannabis culture.Strong attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Desire and ability to work as a member of a team.Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.Strong work ethic, integrity, and desire to be accountable, transparent and proactive.Ability to work at a fast pace in a high production environment.Basic proficiency with production software or inventory systems is a plus.
