As a data scientist, you're excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set, and you're fascinated by the possibilities presented by IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. You'll work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Qualifications
You Have:
  • Experience applying geographic and geospatial scientific principles, tools, and analytical techniques
  • Experience applying data science and machine learning techniques including logistic regression, natural language processing (NLP), clustering, neural networks, deep learning, image recognition, and algorithm development
  • Experience performing data analysis using SQL and scripting languages such as Python, R, or Julia
  • Experience developing data science solutions to derive insights from complex datasets
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean
  • Experience with natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field and 10+ years of experience in Data Science, or Master's Degree in a STEM field and 5+ years of experience in a STEM field

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with IT, business, or operational metrics platforms such as Splunk, Elastic, or Confluence
  • Experience working within a DoD or Intelligence Community operational environment and with DoD or Intelligence Community geospatial data repositories
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite to develop reports, graphics, and briefings
  • Knowledge of the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) production chain
  • Knowledge of Army, DoD, or Intelligence Community GEOINT processes, policies, and programs
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • AWS AI/ML Specialty Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62.50 to $69.72 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch's total compensation package for employees.
