Job description

Overview

We're looking for an experienced supervisor to keep our lab running smoothly โ€” someone who's equally comfortable managing a team, staying on top of compliance, and rolling up their sleeves when needed.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operation of the microbiology laboratory as part of the Department of Pathology and Clinical Medicine. Responsible for the quality of testing, equipment, supplies, financial management, schedules and personnel management.

Qualifications
  • Must be qualifies as medical technologist pursuant to the provisions of section 58-1.5(b) of the Subpart and has at least six years of pertinent clinical laboratory experience subsequent to qualifying of which at least 2 years spent in microbiology laboratory.
  • Evaluates new procedures, equipment, and products.
  • Monitors appropriate workflow changes to enhance laboratory performance.
  • Monitors staff โ€“ attendance, training, safety compliance.
  • Schedules and organizes daily operations of the laboratory.
  • Assists with document control processes.
Pay Range

USD $123,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
