Now Hiring: Sales Representative

Smokey Hills Outdoor Store – Park Rapids, MN

Do you have a passion for the outdoors and enjoy helping people? Smokey Hills Outdoor Store is looking for a motivated, dependable Sales Representative to join our team.

We are a full-service outdoor retailer specializing in hunting, fishing, camping, firearms, ammunition, and outdoor gear. Our team takes pride in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for every customer who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service throughout the store
  • Assist customers with product selection and answer questions across all departments
  • Sell firearms and accurately complete all required federal and state paperwork while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and store policies
  • Operate the cash register and accurately process customer transactions
  • Stock shelves, price merchandise, and maintain attractive displays
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and well maintained
  • Prepare and ship orders for our growing e-commerce business
  • Receive, organize, and stock incoming inventory
  • Assist with merchandising and overall store presentation
  • Support teammates wherever needed to help the store operate efficiently
Qualifications
  • Passion for hunting, fishing, camping, shooting sports, or the outdoor lifestyle
  • Clean background check required
  • Ability to legally handle and sell firearms in accordance with all applicable laws
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Weekend availability required as part of a rotating schedule
Store Hours

Monday through Sunday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Weekend availability is required.
