Summary

The Campaign Ambassador supports United Wayโ€™s annual fundraising campaign by managing assigned workplace giving accounts, cultivating donor relationships, and delivering impactful presentations. This contract role works closely with Resource Development staff and executive-level volunteers to strengthen community partnerships, promote engagement, and increase support for the Community Fund. This is a temporary contract role beginning in July through December based on available funding to support ongoing campaign needs.

Position Requirements & Qualifications
  • Two (2) years of demonstrated sales, fundraising, and/or community outreach success history.
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree strongly preferred; comparable experience considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; Microsoft 365 preferred.
  • CRM database experience required; Salesforce preferred.
  • Possess a valid driverโ€™s license and have the use of an insured motor vehicle.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Attend a full week of orientation regardless of regular work schedule.
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Work in close collaboration with our Resource Development team to facilitate the management and coordination of annual employee and corporate giving campaigns.
  • Support all phases of the workplace campaign lifecycle, including planning, kickoff, active solicitation, and wrap-up for assigned accounts.
  • Deliver compelling presentations about United Way to a variety of audiences (in person, virtually, by phone).
  • Provide exceptional customer service and responsive communication to assigned accounts.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with workplace campaign coordinators, donors, volunteers, and team members.
  • Represent UWCE at campaign events, meetings, and presentations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all account activity, including campaign progress, donor interactions, and follow-up actions.
  • Participate in onboarding and ongoing professional development.
